STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen

 

AN ACT\trelative to registration of voters.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

\t1  Determining Qualifications of Applicant.  Amend RSA 654:12, II(a) to read as follows:

\t\t\t(a)  Any one of the following documents is presumptive evidence that the individual seeking to vote meets the domicile requirement, provided the document is currently valid, was issued to or in the name of the applicant, and shows the address the applicant claims as a domicile:

\t\t\t\t(1)  New Hampshire driver’s license.

\t\t\t\t(2)  New Hampshire vehicle registration.

\t\t\t\t(3)  Armed services identification, or other photo identification issued by the United States government.

\t\t\t\t(4)  Deed or lease.

\t2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
