STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT\trequiring school districts employing school resource officers to adopt a written agreement.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
\t14:1 New Paragraph; State Board of Education; School Resource Officers. Amend RSA 186:11 by inserting after paragraph XXXVI the following new paragraph:
\t\tXXXVII. School Resource Officers. Require each school district in the state to which a school resource officer is assigned to develop and implement a policy which shall include, at a minimum, a requirement for a signed memorandum of understanding between the school district and the law enforcement agency from which the school resource officer is deployed.
\t14:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2017.
