STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT\tbanning the sale and possession of synthetic urine and urine additives.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
\t1 New Subdivision; Sale of Synthetic Drugs; Synthetic Urine and Urine Additives. Amend RSA 359-O by inserting after section 7 the following new subdivision:
Synthetic Urine and Urine Additives
\t359-O:8 Sale or Possession of Synthetic Urine and Urine Additives Prohibited.
\t\tI. No person or business shall:
\t\t\t(a) Manufacture, sell, distribute, market, or possess synthetic urine or urine additives.
\t\t\t(b) Attempt to defeat a drug or alcohol screening test by using synthetic urine or urine additives.
\t\tII. In this section, "drug or alcohol screening test" means an analysis of a sample of bodily fluid collected from a person for the purpose of detecting the presence of alcohol or drugs in the bodily fluid of the person.
\t\tIII. Any person or business who violates this subdivision shall be subject to the penalty in RSA 359-O:5, I.
\t2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2017.
