STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

 

AN ACT\trelative to the registration of an OHRV in the name of a trust.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

\t1  New Section; Off Highway Recreational Vehicles; Registration; Trusts.  Amend RSA 215-A by inserting after section 21-a the following new section:

\t215-A:21-b  Registration of OHRV in Name of a Trust.  The registration of an OHRV under this chapter by an owner may be held in the name of a trust established by or for the benefit of the owner of the ORHV, which shall include those who have placed the ownership of the OHRV in a grantor/revocable trust or who have equitable title or the beneficial interest for life in the OHRV.  The executive director shall establish in rules the documentation required for an OHRV held in trust to be registered under this chapter.

\t2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
