STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT\tadding National Guard members to the absentee voting laws and relative to enrollment of laws.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
\t183:1 Absent Uniformed Service Voters; National Guard. Amend RSA 652:16-c, I to read as follows:
\t\tI. Members of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and National Guard, the commissioned corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the commissioned corps of the Public Health Service, and all regular and reserve components thereof, while in active service.
\t183:2 Enrollment of Laws. Amend RSA 14:8 to read as follows:
\t14:8 Enrollment of Laws. All bills and resolutions which have passed both branches of the legislature shall be forwarded to the office of legislative services to be there enrolled and prepared for submission to the governor. After such enrollment the bill or resolution shall be forwarded by the secretary of state to the committee on enrolled bills for final approval. [After said final approval the bill or resolution shall be forwarded to the secretary of state. He] The secretary of state shall keep such bills and resolutions as public records of the state.
\t183:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
