STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

 

AN ACT\trelative to the maximum gross weight for dump trailers.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

\t1  New Subparagraph; Vehicle Weight; Dump Trailer.  Amend RSA 266:18-b, III by inserting after subparagraph (j) the following new subparagraph:

\t\t\t(k)  For a combination of truck-tractor and dump trailer equipped with 6 axles or more, the gross weight shall not exceed 99,000 pounds if the distance between the extreme axles is 32 feet or more.  If the distance between the extreme axles is less than 32 feet, the maximum weight shall be determined under subparagraph (e).

\t2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect January 1, 2017.
