In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT relative to temporary OHRV registrations for nonresidents.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Repeal; Prospective Repeals of Temporary OHRV Registrations. 2014, 286:4 through 286:6 and 286:7, I, are repealed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

METHODOLOGY:
This bill repeals the repeal in Chapter 286, Laws of 2014, of the 10-day temporary nonresident OHRV registrations. During FY 2017 1,742 10-day nonresident OHRV registrations were sold by the Fish and Game Department (F&G). Individuals seeking to purchase the aforementioned registration will pay a fee of $40; $24 of which is transferred to the Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED) and $16 is provided to F&G. F&G incurs a cost of approximately $3 in materials (i.e., decals and forms) for each registration sold. The following table includes the Departments' revenue and expenditure estimates:
