STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

AN ACT amending the salary grade for the chairman of the public utilities commission.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Compensation of Certain State Officials. Amend RSA 94:1-a, I(b) by:
I. Deleting:
JJ Public utilities commission chairman
II. Inserting:
LL Public utilities commission chairman
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

This bill increases the grade and salary for the Public Utilities Commission Chairman as follows:

The Public Utilities Commission states this bill will increase the current Chairman's salary to $128,260 from $121,488 and benefits to $25,844 from $24,480. This change will increase State restricted expenditures by $8,136 (($128,260 - $121,488) + ($25,844 - $24,480) = $8,136) annually.
