STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen
AN ACT relative to increasing the maximum amount of the optional veterans' tax credit.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
148:1 Property Taxation; Optional Veterans’ Tax Credit. Amend RSA 72:28, II to read as follows:
II. The optional veterans’ tax credit, upon adoption by a city or town pursuant to RSA 72:27-a, shall be an amount from $51 up to [$500] $750. The optional veterans’ tax credit shall replace the standard veterans’ tax credit in its entirety and shall not be in addition thereto.
148:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect April 1, 2018.
