AN ACT relative to the use of cemetery trust funds.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

 

AN ACT relative to the use of cemetery trust funds.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Cemeteries; Use of Trust Funds.  Amend RSA 289:9 to read as follows:

289:9  Use of Trust Funds.  Cemetery corporations and the trust fund trustees of municipalities may take and hold funds in trust, and may apply the income of the trust to the improvement, watering, or embellishment of the cemetery, including construction of a columbarium, or to the care, preservation, or embellishment of any lot or its appurtenances.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
