STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT requiring legislative oversight over the emergency powers of the department of health and human services.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Public Health Emergency Management Powers; Legislative Oversight.  Amend RSA 21-P:53 by inserting after paragraph IX the following new paragraph:

X.  An emergency order issued pursuant to paragraph V or VI shall be subject to legislative oversight by the ethics oversight advisory committee pursuant to RSA 141-C:27, II(b).

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
