AN ACT limiting the number of parking spaces required per occupied dwelling.

This bill prohibits local legislative bodies from adopting zoning regulations requiring more than one parking space per occupied dwelling.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT limiting the number of parking spaces required per occupied dwelling.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Zoning Restrictions on Parking Spaces.  Amend RSA 674 by inserting after section 23 the following new section:

674:23-a  Zoning Restrictions on Parking Spaces.  The local legislative body shall not adopt ordinances requiring more than one parking space per occupied dwelling.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
