STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT relative to certain committees and commissions of the department of state.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Department of State; Commissions and Boards Functioning Within Department; Removal of the Joint Board of Licensure and Certification.  Amend RSA 5:13 to read as follows:

5:13  Commissions and Boards Functioning Within Department.  The ballot law commission[,] and the boxing and wrestling commission [and the joint board of licensure and certification] shall each function within the department of state as a separate organizational entity and with all the powers and duties as heretofore provided, except as otherwise provided by law.

2  Repeal.  The following are repealed:

I.  RSA 5:13-a, relative to the real estate commission administratively attached to the department of state.

II.  RSA 5:50, relative to the grants review committee.

III.  RSA 652:24, relative to the voter identification advisory committee.

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
