STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two
AN ACT relative to certain committees and commissions of the department of state.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Department of State; Commissions and Boards Functioning Within Department; Removals. Amend RSA 5:13 to read as follows:
5:13 Commissions and Boards Functioning Within Department. The ballot law commission[, the boxing and wrestling commission and the joint board of licensure and certification] shall [each] function within the department of state as a separate organizational entity and with all the powers and duties as heretofore provided, except as otherwise provided by law.
2 Boxing and Wrestling Commission; Attachment Removed. Amend RSA 285:2 to read as follows:
285:2 Establishment of Commission. There is hereby established a boxing and wrestling commission which shall oversee amateur and professional fighting sports in the state. [The commission shall be administratively attached to the department of state pursuant to RSA 21-G:10.]
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
