STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two
AN ACT prohibiting the docking of houseboats on Perkins Pond in Sunapee.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
108:1 Perkins Pond; Houseboats Prohibited. Amend RSA 270:77 to read as follows:
270:77 Squam Lake, [and] Conway [Lakes] Lake, [and] Silver Lake in Madison, and Perkins Pond in Sunapee. No person shall at any time place in or upon, or use, or operate upon, Squam Lake, [or] Conway Lake, [or] Silver Lake in Madison, or Perkins Pond in Sunapee any houseboat. Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of a violation. Boards of health and health officers of towns abutting said lakes shall have power and authority to enforce the provisions of this section.
108:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2023.
