ANALYSIS

 

This bill provides that good cause for a tax abatement under RSA 76:16 shall include allowed recreational use of OHRVs on class 5 and class 6 roads.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT relative to applications for abatements and authority to abate prior years' taxes for certain homeowners.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Tax Abatement; By Selectmen or Assessors; Good Cause; Allowed Used of OHRVs.  Amend RSA 76:16 to read as follows:

V.  In this section, "good cause" shall include allowed recreational use of OHRVs on class 5 and class 6 roads for affected homeowners.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect April 1, 2023.
