STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two
AN ACT relative to causes for absolute divorce.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
114:1 Annulment, Divorce and Separation; Absolute Divorce, Generally; Drug and Alcohol Abuse. RSA 458:7, VII is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
VII. When either party habitually abuses alcohol or drugs and has been doing so for 2 or more years together.
114:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2023.
