AN ACT relative to alternative dispute resolution within individualized education programs.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to alternative dispute resolution within individualized education programs.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Alternative Dispute Resolution.  RSA 186-C:23, I(c) is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:

(c)  IEP facilitation.

2  New Paragraph; Rulemaking Authority.  Amend RSA 186-C:23 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI.  The state board of education shall adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, for the methods of alternative dispute resolution in this section.

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
