AN ACT relative to certain restrictions on the Piscataquog River.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to certain restrictions on the Piscataquog River.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Restrictions on Boating; Piscataquog River. Amend RSA 270:121 to read as follows:

270:121 Piscataquog River.

I. No person shall use or operate any powerboat in excess of 40 miles per hour 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset or in excess of headway speed from dusk to dawn on the Piscataquog River in the town of Goffstown and the city of Manchester.

II. No person shall use or operate any powerboat equipped with any type of power motor in excess of 55 horsepower upon the Piscataquog River in the town of Goffstown and the city of Manchester.

III. No person shall operate any watercraft, as defined in RSA 270:73, VI, upon the Piscataquog River in the town of Goffstown and the city of Manchester.

IV. Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a violation.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2006.
