AN ACT relative to liability for the use of municipal ski jump facilities.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to liability for the use of municipal ski jump facilities.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Use of Municipal Ski Jump Facilities. Amend RSA 507-B by inserting after section 11 the following new section:

507-B:12 Use of Municipal Ski Jump Facilities. A municipality which permits any person to use a municipal ski jump facility for the purpose of ski jumping shall not be liable for personal injury or property damage resulting from the person’s participation in such activity in the absence of gross or wanton negligence. A municipality shall not be liable for personal injury or property damage arising from unauthorized use of a ski jump facility for purposes other than ski jumping.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2006.
