HOUSE BILL 353
AN ACT relative to consent to haul lobster and crab gear of license holders.
This bill allows law enforcement personnel to haul lobster and crab gear of persons holding licenses for taking lobster and crabs in the jurisdiction of the state.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five
AN ACT relative to consent to haul lobster and crab gear of license holders.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
204:1 New Paragraph; Lobster and Crabs; License; Consent to Inspection Added. Amend RSA 211:18 by inserting after paragraph I the following new paragraph:
I-a. Any person who purchases a license to take lobster and crabs in waters of the state of New Hampshire pursuant to this section shall be deemed to have given consent to law enforcement officers to haul, for any purpose, their lobster and crab gear set for the purpose of taking or keeping lobster and crabs within the jurisdiction of the state of New Hampshire.
204:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
