AN ACT relative to property assessment records posted on the Internet.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to property assessment records posted on the Internet.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Property Taxation; Assessment Records. Amend RSA 76 by inserting after section 7-a the following new section:

76:7-b Posting of Assessment Records on the Internet. Any record of assessment information or an excerpt of a record made available for public inspection under RSA 76:7 and 76:7-a and posted on the Internet by the selectmen or assessors or other town or city official, shall not include a description or depiction of the floor plan or the structural footprint, or any photograph of the property.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
