STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to theft of personal checks and credit cards.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

36:1 New Subparagraph; Theft; Definitions. Amend RSA 637:2, V by inserting after subparagraph (b) the following new subparagraph:

(c) Each personal check or credit card shall have a value of $250.

36:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
