STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to the adoption of a long-term contract by a school district.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 School Districts; Special Meetings. Amend RSA 194:21-b to read as follows:

194:21-b Special Meetings. The adoption of a long-term contract as provided for by RSA 194:21-a may be taken by the school district at a regular annual meeting or a special meeting called for the purpose provided that an article is inserted in the warrant for said meeting relative to said contract. A majority of voters present and voting shall be required for approval of the long-term contract.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
