STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to the construction of a substance abuse treatment facility in Unity, New Hampshire.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Unity, New Hampshire. A for-profit entity may design and build a substance abuse treatment facility in Unity, New Hampshire and may lease such facility to the county for a nominal amount during the amortization period. At the end of the amortization period, the for-profit entity shall offer to deed it to the county for a nominal amount. The for-profit entity may also enter into an arrangement with the state for the purposes of using prison labor for the construction of such project.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
