STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT proclaiming March as New Hampshire Irish American Month.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Observances Proclaimed by the Governor; New Hampshire Irish American Month. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-l the following new section:

4:13-m New Hampshire Irish American Month. The governor shall annually proclaim the month of March as New Hampshire Irish American Month and shall urge cities and towns throughout the state to observe this month in an appropriate manner in recognition of the citizens of this state of Irish descent and their contributions to the history and culture of New Hampshire.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
