SB 162-FN-A - FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT increasing the appropriation to the firemen’s relief fund.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The Insurance Department has determined this bill will increase state general fund expenditures by $34,000 in FY 2006 and each year thereafter. There will be no fiscal impact on county and local expenditures or state, county, and local revenues.

METHODOLOGY:

The Insurance Department stated current firemen’s fund statute requires $6,000 per year of revenues received under RSA 400-A be deposited into the firemen’s fund. This bill will increase the amount deposited in the firemen’s fund to $40,000 and increase general fund expenditures by $34,000 per year.
