STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five
AN ACT making an appropriation to the postsecondary education commission for the purpose of the New Hampshire incentive program.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Postsecondary Education Commission; Appropriation for New Hampshire Incentive Program Grants. The sum of $3,100,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006 and the sum of $3,100,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007 are hereby appropriated to the postsecondary education commission for the purpose of funding grants for the benefit of residents of the state under the New Hampshire incentive program established in RSA 188-D:10. Such sums shall be in addition to any other sums appropriated to the postsecondary education commission for the New Hampshire incentive program. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sums out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.

SB 181-FN-A - FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT making an appropriation to the postsecondary education commission for the purpose of the New Hampshire incentive program.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Postsecondary Education Commission indicates this bill will increase state general fund expenditures by $3,100,000 in FY 2006 and by $3,100,000 in FY 2007. There will be no fiscal impact to state, county and local revenue or county and local expenditures.
This bill appropriates $3,100,000 in general funds per year to the Postsecondary Education Commission in FY 2006 and FY 2007 for the purposes of this act.
METHODOLOGY:
The Commission states this bill will increase state general fund expenditures for additional incentive grants paid to students in an amount equal to the appropriation of $3,100,000 each year.
