STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six

AN ACT making an appropriation to the Seacoast Shipyard Association.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Seacoast Shipyard Association; Appropriation. In support the continued operation of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, the sum of $7,500 in each year of the biennium ending June 30, 2007, is appropriated to the state treasurer for the purpose of funding the Seacoast Shipyard Association. The association shall use the funds for costs associated with publicity and promotion of the shipyard, including, but not limited to, compilation of data and documentation and production of informational print and video material. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.

HB 1148-FN-A - FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT making an appropriation to the Seacoast Shipyard Association.

FISCAL IMPACT:

      The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant has determined this bill will increase state general fund expenditures by $7,500 in FY 2006 and FY 2007. This bill will have no fiscal impact on state, county, and local revenue or county and local expenditures.

      This bill appropriates $7,500 from the general fund to the State Treasurer for the purpose of funding the Seacoast Shipyard Association in FY 2006 and FY 2007.

METHODOLOGY:

    The Seacoast Shipyard Association shall use the funds appropriated for costs associated with publicity and promotion of the Shipyard, including compilation of data, and documentation and production of informational print and video material.
