STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six
AN ACT authorizing the town of Seabrook to plow and remove snow from certain private driveways.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Town of Seabrook; Snow Removal. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the town of Seabrook may:
I. Plow and remove snow from private driveways of property owners or residents within the town of Seabrook who are unable to plow and remove snow because they are elderly or medically or physically unable to perform these functions for themselves and lack the financial resources to engage others to perform snow removal.
II. Expend public funds to perform such plowing and snow removal.
III. Adopt reasonable regulations, ordinances, and by-laws to implement this act.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.

SB 276 FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT authorizing the town of Seabrook to plow and remove snow from certain private driveways.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The New Hampshire Municipal Association states this bill will have no fiscal impact on state, county, and local revenue or expenditures.
METHODOLOGY:
The Association states this bill allows the Town of Seabrook to plow and remove snow from the private driveways of certain property owners. This bill is permissive and plowing is at the discretion of the Town.
