STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT appropriating funds to the barn preservation fund matching grants program.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Appropriation. The sum of $1 is appropriated to the division of historical resources, department of cultural resources for each year of the biennium ending June 30, 2009, for the purpose of funding the barn preservation fund established under RSA 227-C:28. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sums out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.

HB 239 FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT appropriating funds to the barn preservation fund matching grants program.

FISCAL IMPACT:

      The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant has determined this bill, as amended by the House (Amendment #2007-0891h), will increase state general find expenditures by $1.00 in FY 2008 and $1.00 in FY 2009. There will be no fiscal impact on county and local expenditures or state, county, and local revenue.

      This bill appropriates $1.00 in FY 2008 and $1.00 in FY 2009 from the general funds to the Department of Cultural Resources for the purposes of this act.

METHODOLOGY:

    This funds appropriated in each year of the biennium to the Department of Cultural Resources will be for the purpose of funding the barn preservation fund.
