STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight

AN ACT relative to insuring personal jewelry.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Fire Insurance; Personal Jewelry. Amend RSA 407 by inserting after section 12-a the following new section:

407:12-b Replacement Value of Jewelry. Any policy or contract issued under this chapter which insures personal jewelry against loss or damage shall specify the replacement value at the time the policy is written.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
