STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight

AN ACT designating the Senator Otto Oleson Scenic Overlook in Jefferson.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

208:1 Town of Jefferson; The Senator Otto Oleson Scenic Overlook. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the scenic overlook located on Route 115 in the town of Jefferson, 3.8 miles east from Route 3, between the Old Cherry Mountain Road/Meadows Road and Lennon Road, overlooking Cherry Pond shall be designated as the Senator Otto Oleson Scenic Overlook in honor of Senator Oleson’s dedication to, and love for the north country and the people he represented. Appropriate signage may be placed at the location.

208:2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers authorized under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers authorized under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.

208:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
