AN ACT relative to the membership of the legislative youth advisory council.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT relative to the membership of the legislative youth advisory council.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Legislative Youth Advisory Council. Amend RSA 19-K:2 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. If a member fails to appear for 3 consecutive meetings, the council may request that the appointing authority appoint a replacement member. Upon appointment of the replacement, the prior appointment shall terminate and the replacement shall serve for the remainder of the prior member’s term.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
