STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT relative to modification of parental rights and responsibilities.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Subparagraphs; Modification of Parental Rights and Responsibilities. Amend RSA 461-A:11, I by inserting after subparagraph (e) the following new subparagraphs:

(f) Parties who divorced prior to October 5, 2005 may file a parenting plan with the court to modify their parental rights and responsibilities and, if necessary, meet with a court appointed parenting coordinator or mediator to resolve any disputes.

(g) A change in a child’s age and development occurring 3 years after the entry of the last order.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
