STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine
AN ACT relative to real estate developers creating space for drying laundry without electricity or gas.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Space for Residential Non-Electric or Non-Gas Powered Drying. Amend RSA 155-D by inserting after section 10 the following new section:
155-D:11 Space for Residential Non-Electric or Non-Gas Powered Drying. New residential construction shall include plans for space to construct clotheslines and drying racks for the purpose of drying washed laundry without an electric or gas powered drying machine. Plans for single family housing shall include such space outside each house. Plans for apartment buildings and condominium units may include such space inside housing structures.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
