This bill allows the executive director of fish and game to permit agents issuing online licenses to collect an Internet transaction fee from licensees.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT authorizing a transaction fee for license agents electronically issuing fish and game licenses.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

9:1 New Paragraph; Fish and Game; License Agents; Internet Transaction Fee Authorized. Amend RSA 214-A:2 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraph:

VI-a. Notwithstanding other provisions of law to the contrary, the executive director may permit license agents to collect from licensees an Internet transaction fee when issuing online licenses. This Internet transaction fee shall be in addition to the agent fee as provided in RSA 214-A:4. The amount of the Internet transaction fee shall be set at the discretion of the executive director.

9:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
