STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten

AN ACT requiring the fire standards and training commission to perform self-reviews of its membership.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Self-Reviews of Membership. Amend RSA 21-P by inserting after section 28 the following new section:

21-P:28-a Self-Reviews of Membership. The commission shall, on or before November 1, 2010 and every 5 years thereafter, perform a self-review of its membership to ensure that the membership is relevant to the commission’s duties and submit a report of its findings and recommendations for legislation to the commissioner of safety, the governor, the speaker of the house of representatives, and the senate president.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
