STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten
AN ACT relative to notification by banks concerning crediting deposits in bank accounts.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Customer Notification. Amend RSA 382-A by inserting after section 4-109 the following new section:
382-A:4-109-a Customer Notification. For each customer maintaining an account at a bank, the bank shall provide notification of, and the customer must assent in writing to, the bank’s policies regarding when deposits are credited to accounts.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
