AN ACT relative to approval of changes to a capital budget project.

This bill provides that change to the plan, location, or design of a capital budget project must be ratified by the capital budget overview committee.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten
AN ACT relative to approval of changes to a capital budget project.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Capital Budget; Project Changes After Funding; Approval. Amend RSA 9:26-a to read as follows:
9:26-a Prohibited Changes. No change shall be made in the plan, location, or design of a project in the capital budget after the project has been approved and funds appropriated, unless the change is ratified by the [office space study] capital budget overview committee.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
