STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten

AN ACT relative to foreclosure consultants.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Foreclosure Consultants. Amend RSA 479-B by inserting after section 1 the following new section:

479-B:1-a Foreclosure Consultants. No person shall hold himself or herself out as a foreclosure consultant unless he or she is a licensed notary public under RSA 455 or a licensed justice of the peace under RSA 455-A.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
