STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven
AN ACT requiring decisions and actions of the joint committee on legislative facilities to be ratified by the legislature.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Joint Committee on Legislative Facilities. Amend RSA 17-E by inserting after section 5-a the following new section:
17-E:5-b Ratification Required. No decision or action of the committee pursuant to RSA 17-E:5-a shall be effective until the decision or action is ratified in a concurrent resolution adopted by the house of representatives and senate. A concurrent resolution under this section may be introduced at any time during the legislative session. It shall be subject to the same rules as any other concurrent resolution introduced at the beginning of the legislative session.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
