STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT relative to education requirements for certification as a guardian ad litem.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Guardian Ad Litem Board; Education and Training Requirements. Amend RSA 490-C:4, I(d) to read as follows:

(d) Establish educational requirements and continuing educational requirements. Approximately 33 percent of the initial education and training required for certification as a guardian ad litem shall be in the areas of child development and family dynamics, including parental alienation.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
