STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT repealing written majority authorization for an employee organization to be certified as the exclusive representative of public employees in a bargaining unit.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

159:1 Repeal. The following are repealed:

I. RSA 273-A:1, XII, relative to the definition of written majority authorization.

II. RSA 273-A:10, IX, relative to election of an exclusive representative of an employee organization.

159:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

Approved: Enacted in accordance with Article 44, Part II, of N.H. Constitution, without signature of the Governor, June 9, 2011.
