STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT prohibiting the state from withholding union dues from the wages of state employees.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Withholding of Wages; Union Dues. Amend RSA 275:48, I(b)(1) to read as follows:

(1) Union dues, except that no public employer as defined in RSA 273-A:1, X, shall withhold union dues from the wages of an employee;

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
