STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT relative to medical and surgical benefits for state employees.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
215:1 Statement of Intent. The intent of this act is to encourage state employees to contribute pretax moneys to post-retirement medical savings plans if authorized by a collective bargaining agreement.
215:2 New Paragraph; State Employees; Medical and Surgical Benefits. Amend RSA 21-I:30 by inserting after paragraph I the following new paragraph:
I-a. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the state or state employees from making contributions to post-retirement medical savings plans for such employees, if authorized by a collective bargaining agreement, but only for the term of such agreement.
215:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
