STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT naming a bridge in the town of Londonderry in honor of Lance Corporal Peter J. Sora, Jr., U.S.M.C. and Private First Class Eric D. Currier, U.S.M.C.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Bridge Named in Honor of Lance Corporal Peter J. Sora, Jr., U.S.M.C. and Private First Class Eric D. Currier, U.S.M.C. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the Cohas Brook Bridge in the town of Londonderry is hereby renamed the Sora-Currier Memorial Bridge in honor of Lance Corporal Peter J. Sora, Jr., U.S.M.C., who died in a training accident shortly before being deployed to Iraq in 2004 and Private First Class Eric D. Currier, U.S.M.C., who died in the Helmand Province, Afghanistan in February of 2010. Appropriate signage or markers may be placed at the site.

2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers authorized under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers authorized under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
