STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen
AN ACT repealing a duty of the assessing standards board concerning municipal reimbursement for the cost of assessments.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Repeal. RSA 21-J:11-a, III, relative to the assessing standards board recommendation for municipal reimbursement of the cost of assessments, is repealed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.

HB 147 FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT repealing a duty of the assessing standards board concerning municipal reimbursement for the cost of assessments.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Department of Revenue Administration and the New Hampshire Municipal Association state this bill, as amended by the House (Amendment #2013-0044h), will have no fiscal impact on state, county, or local revenues and expenditures.
METHODOLOGY:
The Department of Revenue Administration and the New Hampshire Municipal Association state this bill will repeal RSA 21-J:11-a, III requiring the Assessment Standards Board to study and recommend to the legislature whether municipalities should be reimbursed for expenses incurred as a result of changes in assessment practices. The Department and the New Hampshire Municipal Association state there will be no fiscal impact.
