AN ACT relative to application of laws on employment to the members of the house of representatives.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen

AN ACT relative to application of laws on employment to the members of the house of representatives.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Application of Laws on Employment to Members of the House of Representatives. Amend RSA 14 by inserting after section 15-b the following new section:

14:15-c Application of Laws on Employment to Members of the House of Representatives. Notwithstanding any other law, the definition of employment in RSA 282-A:9, which excludes service by the members of the house of representatives from the term “employment,” shall govern all matters of compensation and employment status for such members.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
