This bill allows a person issued a summons for a misdemeanor or violation to obtain a copy of the police report and any other discoverable material related to the offense.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen
AN ACT relative to discovery in misdemeanor and violation cases.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Summons Instead of Arrest; Discovery. Amend RSA 594:14 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:
III. A person issued a summons for a misdemeanor or violation may obtain, without cost and upon request, a copy of the police report and any other discoverable material related to the offense.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
